About
Forest Park (PDF map) combines rolling green pastures, stunning views east and west, and fine homes in both new developments and on existing large lots. The neighborhood has a pleasantly rural quality to it, especially given that it’s only a short drive from Northwest and all that it has to offer. Located high in the West Hills, Forest Park is named, obviously enough, for Forest Park, which extends northward from the neighborhood for miles. With hiking trails aplenty, a true feeling of natural serenity and proximity to amenities, Forest Park is a great choice for the nature-lover who doesn’t want to be too isolated.

For the second year in a row, Multnomah County Library is ranked number two in Hennen's American Public Library Ratings (HAPLR), which rates U.S. public libraries serving populations over 500,000.
Forest Park is served by the Northwest branch (2300 NW Thurman St.) of the Multnomah County Library.

Forest Park Neighborhood Association, a member of Neighbors West/Northwest, meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Community Center (360 NW Greenleaf Rd.)
